Students Help to Coordinate CAURS Conference

Date

The Chicago Area Undergraduate Research Symposium (CAURS)  15th annual conference is scheduled to be held this weekend, thanks in part to the leadership of three Illinois Institute of Technology students. Misha Shah (JTSB ’19), Chang Xu (PHYS ’19) and Sabrina Farshori (ASPY ‘20) all are serving on the CAURS Inter-School Board this academic year. The board includes students from six Chicago-area universities and organizes the bulk of the conference.

CAURS is one of the largest annual undergraduate research conferences in the country. Participants experience research of their fellow undergraduates through poster presentations, oral presentations, and roundtable discussions. The 2019 CAURS conference will be held at the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center of Northwestern University Saturday April 13.
